BUTLER Solution in brief
The 4th Industrial Revolution combined with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic (Covid -19) make semi-automated or automated methods of managing a warehouse the most prevalent way to solve any problem might turn out. The project BUTLER aims to develop a modern robotic system to automate the processes of storing and routing goods in supply chain warehouses.
The project BUTLER has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union and Greek national funds, though the Innovation Investment Plans.
The project started in October 2021 and it is expected to be completed in September 2023.
Scientific responsible is Dr. Dimosthenis Ioannidis from CERTH/ITI.
