Butler Innovation

The main objective of project BUTLER is to develop an intelligent product storage system, consisting of:

  • Autonomous mobile robots
  • A robust robot control system
  • An intelligent warehouse management system to arrange the fully automated detection, collection of boxes/totes from/to the warehouse shelves and their immediate transportation from/to the order collection station.

The project BUTLER has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union and Greek national funds, though the Innovation Investment Plans.

The project started in October 2021 and it is expected to be completed in September 2023.

Scientific responsible is Dr. Dimosthenis Ioannidis from CERTH/ITI.
